I think it is still too early to assume this. I mean, we are still in the Beta, and the pre-patch may be in two weeks, but MoP is still over a month away. Do you recall how many changes went out within a month before Cata release? Plus, if there is something seriously faulty with a spec (like shadow orb regeneration in the first tier of Cata), I do have faith that it will be looked at and fixed in a timely manner. I may be naive, but I haven't quite lost all faith in the Devs. Mind Blast not scaling with Haste is something that I am hoping will change, if not in the immediate future. I am also hoping (maybe a little naively) that Insanity will be reworked or thrown out, and Archangel returned to us.

- Haste is very important up to 8085 (especially if you choose to use SWI)
- Crit is better than Mastery above and below the Haste breakpoints.
- It sucks trying to make and alter profiles without CharDev. :(

The SimulationCraft Wiki Page on Raid Events:
http://code.google.com/p/simulationcraf ... RaidEvents
Patchwerk = no movement, no raid events, just straight DPS
Ultraxion = Predictable damage and raid stuns that interrupt DPS
Light Movement = Stand still for t=0 to t=45sec, then after that you must move nonstop for 7 seconds every 85 seconds. Think of this as phase transitions
Heavy Movement = For 4 seconds every 10 seconds, you have to move. I.E. 40% of the fight you're running around unable to cast anything except instant-cast abilities.
Helter Skelter = A crazy fight where the boss has abilities that need to be interrupted, you move 5sec out of every 30sec, you're stunned for 2 seconds once a minute, and the boss is invulnerable to damage for 3sec every 2 minutes.
