My numbers seem very low, pulling on average 35k and being told it's not good enough by my raid leader. I have watched kill vids, read up on the spec and do exactly as they say and it's still the same. I'm not necessarily undergeared, still using T17 2pc but I did read sticking with 4pc may be better still up until Mythic.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey there, I have two kills on Archey found here
For the better of my logs I took Surge/DStar, Twist, and of course WoMPoM. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/LT ... &source=32
My focus here is utilization of Circle and PoM to the best of my ability, I don't think I used enough Renew although for my parse it did overheal by 60% so maybe I used enough. Choosing where to put your Lightwell is pretty important because of all of the movement in this fight, placing it ahead of your group so you move closer to it, especially as damage ramps up can be a nice HPS increase. The damage on this fight can get pretty bursty and our raid is stacked up a great portion of the encounter, hence me taking Surge/DStar. As I recently dropped my T17 4pc in favor of T18 2pc so I lose out on the free Serendipity from said tier set so taking Surge has that secondary benefit as well.
I'd mainly look at your casts of CoH and PoM, they are so strong on this fight so maxxing out those casts will make a substantial difference. When chains were being broken I was using glyphed Binding Heal to build Serendipity for heavy PoH use if I wasn't using my Hymn. Burst damage is pretty big on this fight, being able to respond to it quickly is really the name of the game here. If you have any logs I'd be more than happy to look at them to get more specific, but otherwise I hope these tips help. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I was literally thinking after raid last night to try SoL. My ilvl drops from 702 to 699 if I use my T17 4pc, but do you think it is worth taking? I think I will get enough Serendipity procs just from taking SoL and using BH, but was wondering if it is worth considering.
I was also running with Cascade, but DS does make sense considering we are grouped a lot of the time during the encounter.

I would run Surge/DStar and not worry about your T17 4pc. Your 4set is a crutch that is often under utilized, a lot of times people sit on their Serendipity stacks half the fight and it just allows them to ensure that they almost always have 2 stacks when they need it. But, I view this as a crutch because we as healers need to focus on when the damage is going to happen so we can set ourselves up for success. Seeing chains is coming out and preemptively Binding Healing (assuming low overheal) to ensure Serendipity stacks is huge as other healers are also going to be trying to top off the raid fast. You also would be using Surge/DStar which also should ensure you have the Seren stacks when you need them throughout this fight.
Your PoM heals seem very low, it looks like you are casting it semi-frequently but the healing looks low, almost like you don't have T17 2pc on. While T17 4pc is a crutch in my opinion, T17 2pc is absolutely mandatory for progression healing.
Another thing to keep in mind is your spirit/mana, you have 2300+ spirit and the shadowmoon enchant which is a lottt. Be sure to make use of it and bust out the expensive heals when the raid is getting low, more CoH usage and some more PoH would be good.
This fight I feel is all about setup, using PoM before damage happens, CoH right as damage happens, having Serendipity to immediately PoH then BH x2 to get more Serendipity, using Renew on tanks and as needed while running for your life from the jumpy fires!
Happy to answer any other questions, good luck!

That said, if you have enough spirit, you might not feel the need for the 4-set as much and can use (glyphed) binding heal to the same effect.

I was using the 2 piece T17 with the logs I linked. Casting PoM off CD as much as I can on the fight. I do also run with the Binding Heal glyph with the ridiculous amount of Spirit that I have ^^.
Will just have to see how it goes next try :D.

Aethyx wrote:One thing about the t17 4-piece: PoM bounces like absolutely crazy if you are breaking the chains quickly after another, and on the tries I had with the 4set I had an almost guaranteed 2 stacks instantly. You can pre-cast PoH to get rid of the 1 or 2 stacks you had before, then get another 2 and do another PoH very quickly after (usually timing CoH in between).
That said, if you have enough spirit, you might not feel the need for the 2-set as much and can use (glyphed) binding heal to the same effect.
Did you mean "feel the need for the 4-set"? T17 2pc is a huge HPS boost and I wouldn't advocate getting rid of it anytime soon
