Weak Aura Strings

Postby derevka » 02 Jan 2013, 04:46

There's a shadow chain for this, and I've received more than a few emails requesting this-- so I made one here for Holy/Disc.

The actual downloads/code is available at ToaP here since the code is for two rather large dynamic groups:
http://talesofapriest.com/resources/weak-auras/

There are two sets of auras (its actually a pair of two dynamic groups) I am sharing, one is my CD Tracking aura. This aura will DYNAMICALLY change based on spec (Shadow, Holy, or Discipline) and give you a cooldown/cooldown remaining for our pertinent spells. (They are easy to update, add or subtract auras from in Weak Auras).

If you wish to have these auras sorted by off CD on the left, and on CD on the right, that can be done in the Group->Sort menu.

The second is my Throughput Tracking bar which will track Evangelism, Evangelism Stacks, Power Infusion, Spirit Shell and Archangel.

I converted one of my favorite evang/aa power auras found here http://powerauras.wikispaces.com/Priest+Exports for weak auras users.

Heh, that was one of mine back when I used PA. (in fact your link credits it to me :-D )

That said, now that I've abandoned the horror that is MOP Weak Auras and went to Weak Auras... I strongly suggest moving that into one dynamic group, and then just having one export for the whole group instead of in fragments.

just sayin'

I just started playing with weak auras a few days ago. I noticed the grouping option when I hit new but I couldn't figure out what it did exactly. How do you group separate weak auras?

Create a group, then create a new (or use an existing) WA. Click on the arrow next to the eye on the right side, then click on the group you want it to be a part of.

The best thing about groups is the selective loading options you can do on all the auras at once. For instance my Auras are in a "Priest" group that only loads on Priest characters (imagine that).

Fixed it up into one group. Makes the export much cleaner.

Moreover it makes moving it much easier since oyu move it as a group.

I used to like that when I had it, but find the simplicity of the bar with (#) tracking my stacks much cleaner.
